l'm at a big crossroads and don't know what to do.

My husband is impotent. We can't have sex anymore, at least not penetration. l'm 10 years younger than him, and in the prime of my sexual life.

He's suggested l could have a 'friend with benefits', but part of me is scared this will hurt him and our marriage so much. l love him more than anyone, but l don't know if l can last the next 20 years with no sex. Am l being selfish even thinking this could be a solution?

If your love for him is real, the two of you will find other ways pleasure you with your husband being a part of it! I married a man who fell in love with me during breast cancer treatment. I only had one breast and was the prime of my sexual life we started out with a VERY sexual life, but years later and hormone changes after chemo and hysterectomy to survive cancer, I have little interest in sex and my husband is still in the prime of his, we find other methods to full fill our sexual need and it's not always intercouse. You and your husband can share an incredible sexual experience together without it being intercourse, your just have to love each other enough to want to. Good Luck and have fun together :)

You are not being selfish at all. Its human nature to want to have sex. But I know from personal experiance that it will hurt your marriage. There are many way to make love with no penetration. Your husband and you just need to explore some more...Best of luck

What's the big deal here?
If you're looking for an excuse to leave him, then don't bother with the excuse, just leave! Don't dishonor and degrade you both by sleeping with someone else, the heartbreak is just unthinkable!
If you genuinely love him and want to keep your marriage intact, ask your husband to participate with you in choosing some toys from an adult store, and use them to play together! Have fun, enjoy your marriage, be honourable

and above all, be thankful it's impotence, not cancer!
